'True Blood' series finale promo: Will it end in true love for Bill and Sookie?

"True Blood" ends its run next week with episode 710, "Thank You." On Sunday, Aug. 17, HBO released a new preview teasing what is coming up in the show's final episode.

First of all, let's recap the highlights of the penultimate episode of "True Blood." Bill continued to refuse to drink the cure for his Hep V, even with everyone trying to convince him. Instead, he was ready for the true death, and as the episode ended, he arrived at Sookie's house.

Meanwhile, after dealing with other people's relationship problems, Eric returned to Fangtasia to find the Yakuza had chained up Pam and had her moments from death because they knew Sookie was more than a fangbanger. Eric admitted Sookie knew about the cure, and they wanted her address.

Elsewhere, Hoyt and Jessica reunited after she told him about their past while Jason learned how to be in a bed with someone but not have sex thanks to Hoyt's (ex) girlfriend Bridget.

In this next (and last) episode, Sookie weighs a future with and without Bill. Meanwhile, Eric and Pam struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus, Sam makes a choice and Andy comes upon an unexpected inheritance.

The "Thank You" promo asks the question, "Will it end in true love or the true death?" and there are enough hints for either scenario. "You deserve everything," Bill tells Sookie. "You deserve the world." The only problem? She doesn't want the world. "What if all I want right now is to see you live?" She asks him. With this being the last episode, it's only right that there are a number of glimpses at their past.

Meanwhile, Pam clearly survives her near-death experience (if the episode synopsis didn't give that away), and Eric asks if she's with him. But what's he planning to do? Well, it looks like he's going to have Sarah Newlin at his mercy at one point.

"True Blood" ends next Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO. What do you think of the series finale "Thank You" preview? Are you ready to say goodbye to Bon Temps?
