'True Blood' season 7 episode 3 preview: More death in Bon Temps?

"True Blood" season 7 continues next week with episode 3, "Fire in the Hole," for which HBO released a new preview on Sunday, June 29. So what happens next?

In the latest "True Blood" episode, Sookie, Alcide, Jason, Sam and Andy checked out the nearby town of Saint Alice after identifying the body Sookie found in the woods and found it completely deserted. Everyone was either gone or dead. Meanwhile, Andy found Jessica in his attic when he got home, but she told him Adilyn was in trouble, so he had more important things to worry about, especially since Vince has led the rest of the town in a rebellion against the supernatural and their allies.

After leaving Alcide at home, Sookie paid Bill a visit to find out if he could still sense her fear if she got into trouble. The H-vamp captives almost found a way out to freedom, only for it to die between Arlene's legs. Finally, Pam tracked down Eric, only to find that he's infected.

Now, the "Fire in the Hole" promo offers a look at next week's episode, and there is a lot coming up – and possibly at least one more death?! The town stands armed against those they see as their enemies, but the most worrisome part about it is Vince shooting someone and declaring that he's the mayor now. Could he shoot Sam? They wouldn't really kill off Sam so soon after killing Tara, right?

Meanwhile, Alcide follows his nose to find Sookie, who's off with Bill and drinking his blood. What is she planning on doing? Elsewhere, Pam asks Eric if he contracted the virus on purpose. "The fight's over," he tells her. Also, it looks like Holly, Arlene and Nicole are going to take matters into their own hands to try to get themselves out of the H-vamps' clutches. Oh, and how worried should we be that Lafayette's not waking up?

"True Blood" season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO. What do you think of the episode 3 "Fire in the Hole" preview?
