'True Blood': Sam Trammell stars as pizza guy in Funny or Die video

Although Sam Trammell may be best known for playing Sam Merlotte on HBO's "True Blood", the actor is now showing that he also has plenty of comedic chops. Trammell has starred in a new video for Funny or Die, which is a "training video" for anyone wanting to be a pizza delivery boy at some point in their lives.

Not only is the video worth a few laughs, but it also has the obvious influence of Will Ferrell shining through some of the over-the-top diolog. In between the "cowboy" references and the fact that there actually isn't much pizza talked about in the video at all, it makes for something to classify under the category of "hilariously ridiculous".

After seeing Sam's comedic side, it certainly seems that the actor could receive more acting offers in the future. Just remember that at this point a year ago, Old Spice pitchman Isaiah Mustafa was known only for his work in dramas.

What do you think of the video?
