True Blood's golden boy Ryan Kwanten, who was recently name GQ Australia's "Man of the Year" after celebrating his 34th birthday and the release of his new film "Red Hill", is not the only HBO star to be garnering more than a little positive attention this year. Joe Manganiello, who made his entrance on into Alan Ball's warped supernatural world as Sookie Stackhouse's sultry werewolf protector Alcide Herveaux last season, has been gaining momentum around the globe as one of the sexiest men in television.

In fact, Manganiello was recently named one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive" for 2010! It's no wonder then why Vanity Fair Italia decided to make the devilishly handsome man the center focus of their new issue. Just look at those abs! This is definitely going to be one issue coveted by True Blood fans around the world. That is, if we can get our paws on a copy!

Joe Manganiello will also be featured in the January 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, which will have a brief interview with the actor, along with an actual poster. TrueBlood-News.net posted a few Q&A tidbits yesterday, though whether or not they are from the forthcoming Cosmo interview, is yet to be determined. Click here to read Manganiello's answers. One in particular I found quite endearing and definitely refreshingly honest:

What’s the ideal thing a woman can say to a man to win him over? “Breakfast is ready”

I know I'm not alone when I say I would be more than happy to cook Joe breakfast any day of the week!

When he's not being immortalized by rabid editorial fans in the glossy pages of fashion magazines, Joe has been hard at work on several different projects including narrating the 2nd audio book in Patricia Briggs’ Hurog Duology series, Dragon Blood. Buzzy Multimedia has yet to announce a release date for this audio book.
