Blaire joined the HBO vampire drama in a recurring role during the sixth season, playing Governor Burrell's daughter Willa, a vampire-rights-activist-turned-vampire. The actress ended up appearing in almost every episode of Season 6.
It was confirmed earlier this week that Willa’s maker, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) will also be returning to the show next season despite his near death in the season finale.
Two other recurring actors will also become regulars in the upcoming seventh season. Karolina Widra, who appeared as the vampire Violet Mazurski, will be a series regular next season. Violet became Jason's (Ryan Kwanten) lover over the course of the season.
Luke Grimes, who played James, will also become a series regular in Season 7. James met Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) at Vamp Camp and the two quickly became lovers.
Blaire's other TV credits include “Royal Pains,” “The Glades,” “Touch,” “The Protector” and “Grimm.”
Production on "True Blood" Season 7 is expected to begin in December for a June 2014 premiere.
