Longtime fans of "True Blood" know that Jason Stackhouse is an impressionable character -- he can be convinced into keeping a vampire in his basement, and he also will go along with joining a cult anti-vampire religion simply when they tell him he is special.
So does this mean that Jason could fall head-over-heels in love easily? It's hard to know for sure, but there is a new interview that suggests that Bon Temps' resident womanizer could have another love interest soon.

TV Guide recently sat down with Lindsay Pulsipher, who plays the mysterious new character Crystal. We've briefly seen the character in the woods this season, as Jason was beginning his new "career path" of joining the police. What will happen between the two? Pulsipher explains:
"She's immediately intrigued. She and Jason have this amazing connection and I think, even for Jason, it is something special because he is a ladies' man."
However, there is a wrench that quickly gets thrown into the mix -- Crystal is a "werepanther". How Jason will react to this is simply anyone's guess. To view photos from the "True Blood" premiere, follow the link here.

Will Jason fall in love? Who cares? The show has turned into another damn boy-fest, instead of following the efforts of working class, upright Sookie -- a woman, which accounts for her being sidelined while the boy vampires flirt with each other -- to keep her moral compass true while all about her are flailing in a sea of savage, supernatural, predator-moralities. Jason, originally, was a pretty, narcissistic cocksman, a perfect foil for his more thoughtful and resourceful sister Sookie. Now Sookie does nothing, in this travesty of a show, has no life of her own (let alone women friends she's really involved with) and does nothing but squeal about her characterless "boyfriend" Bill the vampire.
What a let-down! Read Charlaine Harris's novels; they're much better.
