The fans of “True Blood” are gathering around the TV for the final episode of the series. Over the past few weeks the characters of this popular vampire series have slowly learned their fate and the time to say goodbye is now. According to the New York Daily News on Sunday, after seven seasons, HBO's vampire drama will air its final episode Sunday night called “Thank You.”

Desiring to find out what happens to the popular characters has everyone who loved the series over the year tuning in. One of the big lingering questions from viewers has people wondering if Bill (played by Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (played by Anna Paquin) make it out alive and get a happy ending. Or will they find themselves killed? Fans have been guessing on what might happen at the end.

The fans of “True Blood” have offered up a steady following of fans over the years and HBO gets roughly 10 million viewers a week, but still the ending for the story seemed necessary. Hypable is reporting that the creators of the series hit a wall on story ideas and started questioning the intentions if it was just a numbers game. Looking to end on a solid note for the fans, the series finale appears to be the final nail in the coffin when it comes to the story line of the show.

Fans sometimes are surprised by what the show’s creators have shared with them during the episodes, but it appear that viewers at this point want closure. And hopefully the faithful fans will see this happen on the series finale.
