"True Blood" has wrapped season six on HBO, and now fans are being given their first spoilers for season seven of the series. On Tuesday, Aug. 20, TV Line shared a new interview with Brian Buckner. He is the man in charge of the series.
The end of season six left fans with some big questions, but the biggest question involves the fate of Eric Northman. When Warlow was killed and the power of his blood was destroyed, Eric was on a mountain top in Sweden enjoying a nude sun bath. Not the best time for it. He did catch on fire, and he was not seen in the second half of the episode.
However, he is not dead. Buckner revealed that Eric Northman will be back next season, and he is still a series regular. He did not reveal how he would survive, but Pam might have something to do with it.
As for the rest of the cast, Bill will be back to normal, and Buckner teased that season seven will be 'reset' for him. Season seven will also see a new love triangle surrounding Sookie. She is now dating Alcide, but Bill Compton will work his way back in somehow.
Buckner also teased something about Tara. Her mother wanted Tara to feed from her. Some fans might think that her mother is a carrier of Hep-V and is poisoning Tara, but Buckner revealed that will not be the case. Next season will focus on people changing and seeing forgiveness. Bill and Tara's mother, Lettie Mae, both have a lot to ask forgiveness for.
"True Blood" will return to HBO for season seven next summer.
