It started in early September; bikers were refused a permit to ride through Washington D.C. in honor of the victims of 9/11. Many folks were upset that the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) who organized a “Million Muslim March”. A permit was given to AMPAC to march on Washington the September 11, 2013.
The bikers took a stand and rode on D.C. and protested peacefully without any demands, except one, the right to honor our fallen heroes from 9/11 and our fallen veterans. As a ceremony at the White House was concluding you could hear the rumble of motorcycles in the distance. The traffic camera's may have been scrambled but the POTUS could not silence the sound of patriots riding into our nation's capitol.
Truckers are fed up and planning their own peaceful protest to Washington D.C. on October 11 – 13, 2013, and have an American sit-in over that weekend. The protest will undoubtedly show the U.S. government officials how important our nations truckers are in keeping the U.S. a modern country and to also show patriotism for the Constitution.
Zeeda Andrews, an American Patriot and former trucker, is leading the call for the trucker's convoy. Andrews is deeply concerned about the direction our country is going and plans to do something about it with the “Ride for the Constitution” nationwide event.
This ride is to protest government corruption in America by declaring a general strike for three days. Truckers are asked not to haul freight over that weekend and all Americans are encouraged to join the strikers in protest to show the United States elected officials that Americans are 100% fed up with corruption and blatant disregard of the Constitution that they swore to defend.
People are being asked to not do any banking, shopping or any money transactions. Stock up on items you will need for the weekend and beyond. The Truckers to Shutdown America page administrators say, “It does not matter if a million or 50 roll through DC in this effort, Congress will listen to We the People.”
How you can prepare for this event:
- Make sure you have enough provisions to last approximately 30 days as it could take that long to restock stores with goods. People didn't think there would be a turnout of bikers, do not under estimate truckers, be prepared.
