TRU hosts business meeting in Oakland County

Now is your chance to check out the new Rosie O'Grady's in Ferndale, and engage in discussions regarding transit at the same time. Transportation Riders United (TRU) is inviting all business leaders in Ferndale, Royal Oak, Madison Heights and Clawson to attend a Team Meeting on Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. The new Rosie O'Grady's has a beautiful outdoor patio where you can get the day started drinking your coffee, sharing information and ideas on how to improve transit. Rosie's is at 279 West Nine Mile Rd. While you're making plans for the next few days...don't forget to schedule in three hours of fun for the Pro-Literacy Detroit "Fun Bowl" to be held at the Renaissance Bowling Center on Woodward in Detroit. The event is open to the public and costs $15 for three games of bowling. Pro-Literacy Detroit is helping thousands of Detroiters learn to read so they can gain employment and improve their lives.
