Troy Davis Execution Delayed. How should a Christian respond to this event?

The fate of Troy Davis, the supposed killer of the off-duty cop back in 1989, is still up in the air. There doesn't seem to be enough evidence to convict him either way, which is why this has gone on for so long. This whole situation brings several topics to mind. How would/should the Christian react to this?

First, the Ten Commandments. Exodus 20:13 "You shall not murder." It's obvious why, because when someone commits murder, all sorts of things get fuzzy. Did they really do it? How do we know? Should we punish with death? Isn't that hypocritical? Humanity is not sure how to handle it.

Second, forgiveness. The most difficult thing in this life. Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Even if someone has murdered my son? Yes, because God knows what that's like. He sent His Son, Jesus, and we executed Him.

Third, judgement. We know God is the ultimate judge of this world. 1 Samuel 24:12 "May the LORD judge between you and me. And may the LORD avenge the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you." No matter what someone has done to you, we are to let God take care of it. It's an act of faith.

We can try to judge all we want, but everyone knows our judicial system is flawed. Wrong people get executed, and the bad guy lives. Only God can judge perfectly. Let Him be the judge.
