What I like most about September, especially in Atlantic City, is that things slow down a bit. There are fewer crowds and more opportunities to try new restaurants and also to enjoy the boardwalk. The weather is still nice.
This season, Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City, opened several new restaurants. Tony Luke’s, Marketplace Express, Perry’s Pizza and Casa Taco & Tequila Bar join the list of dining options – both formal and informal in the venue.
Tony Luke’s, the real taste of South Philly, offers world-famous Philly cheesesteaks. One to try for sure is Casa Taco & Tequila Bar which features 50 different tequilas, authentic Latin fare and the table-side guacamole is a real treat. The tacos are a must-try.
Another new entry to the Tropicana is Broadway Burger, a gourmet burger bar, that boasts an array of 15 toppings to choose from. It’s about so much more than just hamburgers. Choose from healthier options like organic grass fed beef, salads, jumbo shrimp and crab cocktail, chicken sandwiches, and turkey burgers. Complement your meal with a milk shake!
In addition to new restaurants, Tropicana has added a family friendly show “Magique” starring Kevin & Caruso through October 4, 2013.
“Magique” blends grand illusions and dazzling costumes with a dose of comedy and a splash of Cirque. Guests will see glamorous showgirls materialize from a cloud of smoke and vanish just as easily. See them impossibly pass through a cluster of spinning blades and witness quirky Lord Caruso levitate in full lighting. Tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000 and at the Tropicana Box Office.
