Tropical jazz fest this week

It's not too late to book a quick jazz jaunt in warmer climes, with the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival coming up November 24-26.

Set in a large beach club, the festival let's you take in great music with moonlight and ocean breezes as accompaniment. Check out my review of last year's fest for a taste of what to expect.

The line-up favours jazz fusion bands and this year is no exception with trumpeter Randy Brecker, the Yellowjackets and Jeff Lorber just a few of the acts gracing the three-day fest.
