Tron Legacy inspired Daft Punk figures!

Growing up in the 80's, many kids got to experience the height of the arcade boom.  Years before Hollywood writers would run out of ideas and turn to comic book and video game plots, there were only a couple of movies that were able to combine the two industries. One was The Wizard, a 100 minute Nintendo commercial that helped Super Mario 3 explode off shelves.  The other was Tron.  Released by Disney, the original movie featured a young Jeff Bridges being transcribed into his own game.  There he would face off against the game villains in, for its time, technically elaborate hi-tech challenges.  The movie helped spawn popular arcade game spin-offs, that still remain in the collectors realm.

Now, video games and movies have become a harmonious partnership.  Movies based off video games have also become commonplace.  So what better time than now than to bring back one of the movies that was most successful with the trend.  With greatly improved technology, graphics, and even bringing back the original stars from the predecessor, Disney's Tron Legacy stepped it up even further by making the film 3-D and bringing in the popular Electronica group Daft Punk to do the soundtrack.  So now fans of Tron and fans of Daft Punk can be excited for what looks to be one of the last good films of 2010.  For fans of both Tron and Daft Punk, you can celebrate by purchasing exclusive Tron inspired Daft Punk figures from AmiAmi.jp.  There are 2 types of figures, real life figures of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, or the Kubricks set of the duo.  The Kubricks set will be released in January, while the real life figures won't come out until April.
