Currently Troma founder and independent film icon Lloyd Kaufman has been out touring his latest addition to the Tromaverse Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1. While that is enough of a reason to rejoice, this also marks the 40th year of Troma Entertainment and they show no sign of slowing down.

Those that are not hardcore Troma fans may not know is that Kaufman isn’t only making independent films, but he has been fighting the good fight fir independent cinema his entire career with his books, speaking engagements and most notably his personal own site. Most recently he posted an amazing article titled ‘Innovation and Our Better Future Depend Preserving Net Neutrality’ in regards to the courts fighting to nullify Net Neutrality.

The article is too lengthy and brilliantly written to justify shrinking it down here, but you can head over to his official site to check it out at http://www.lloydkaufman.com/news/2014/02/04/innovation-and-our-better-fu... This is something that not only affects the film industry but we as people and you may or may not be in agreement, but take the time to check it out from a man who has been fighting the good fight for over 40 years and plans to keep the gloves on forever.
