It's been a great season, but it's coming to an end. Trollhaugen ski area has announced that it will close for the season. In an email, "the troll" says, "We were trying to sneak in one more Saturday, however it looks like Spring weather is finally going to make an appearance this weekend & we've made the hard call to bring the season to an end."
There's no word yet from Buck Hill on whether it will continue to run through Saturday as planned. If you can't get out to the hill this week, here are some photos to remind you of the last week.
If you're looking for some snow after that, head north to Lutsen Mountains. Its Mountain Meltdown celebration will be April 13 and 14.
Expect the ski areas around the Twin Cities to get their summer operations going sometime toward the end of April. Choices include golf, disc golf, water parks, and zip lines.
