CT R&B pop singer, and long-time Trod Nossel client, Melanie Fontana, is making her mark in the music business. On Nov. 1st, pop sensation, Justin Bieber, released a holiday record,"Under The Mistletoe," including a track written by Fontana and her team of songwriters in L.A.. The track entitled,"Home for Christmas," is a duet by Justin Bieber featuring The Band Perry.
A Trod Nossel family member since her teens, Melanie came in to record her first song with her mom, Janis. Since that initial recording, Fontana has recorded a significant amount of material, including publishing demos for the Trod Nossel catalog, featuring a few songs written by one of the famed studios owners, Darlene Cavalier.
Melanie performed at the venerable Apollo Theater in Harlem, and did two long stints singing on The Carnival Cruise lines. Fontana continues to deliver her bold,soulful, 5-octave range to coffee houses,MTV, and everywhere in between.
