ATLANTA – Cycle World, a leading motorcycle magazine, this week confirmed the Triumph Thunderbird as its ‘Cruiser of The Year’ for the second year running.

The 1600 parallel twin cruiser from Triumph won this prestigious award at its launch in the summer of 2009. The United States is the world’s largest and most demanding cruiser motorcycle market. To repeat this for 2010 is a phenomenal achievement for the British-based company.

“The Thunderbird continues to receive great acclaim both from independent journalists and also from its growing customer and fan base. To win this award in the USA for the second year running is an outstanding achievement for everyone involved at Triumph – our designers, manufacturing and support staff, our dealers and of course our customers - who know their motorcycles” said Paul Stroud, Triumph’s Sales & Marketing Director.

The Thunderbird is available with a wide range of Triumph Genuine Accessories, which allow customers to personalize their motorcycles to their own riding style.

The Thunderbird models start at $12,499.99 and form part of a range of award-winning motorcycles from Triumph.
