"Trisha's Southern Kitchen," starring Country Music star Trisha Yearwood, returns for a fourth season on Sat., Nov. 9, 2013 (10:30 a.m. ET/PT), according to an emailed media announcement from Food Network on Oct.3. Thrisha's guests this season include Country star Kelly Clarkson, talk show host Wendy Williams, Olympians Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner, Chef Art Smith and football star Kurt Warner.
Trisha Yearwood's Emmy-winning series returns with new family-inspired recipes, music and special visits from relatives and famous friends. Friends share home-cooked recipes with a Southern-styled twist, such as Corn Salsa with Kelly, Ribbon Meatloaf with Wendy and a lightened up Un-Fried Chicken with Chef Art Smith, Other episodes include a perfect-ten meal and trip to the balance beam with Olympic Gold Medalists Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner, and a football tailgate feast with NFL star Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda.
Trisha opens the season with a nostalgic episode that harks back to the days of black and white television and retro TV dinners. Along with her sister Beth,Trisha invokes 1950s-style, dressed in clothes from the era. The sisters whip up classic comfort food, including Chicken Pot Pies, Chocolate Pudding Frosted Cupcakes and Green Beans with Cheese Sauce. As the season progresses, there will be holiday-themed episodes for Thanksgiving and Holiday Brunch, and a ladies night complete with cocktails and small-bites.

Trisha Yearwood has won three Grammy Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, three Country Music Association honors and has 19 top-ten singles. Her first best-selling cookbook "Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen" (Clarkson Potter)was released in 2008. Her second book "Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood" (Clarkson Potter) followed in 2010. Both books debuted on the New York Times bestseller list in the Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous category. Yearwood is married to Country star Garth Brooks.
