TripAdvisor, the world’s largest online travel site, has just announced the Travelers’ Choice 2011 Best Beach awards. The compilation is based on the reviews and opinions from more than 50 million monthly visitors to the site.
Not surprisingly, Florida and Hawaii garnered quite a few high votes in the best beach category, as did coastal California, the Carolinas, Massachusetts, Maine, Texas, New Jersey and the boardwalk beaches of Delaware and Virginia.
