"Slap Your Mammy" is the latest liquid love to pour forth from the vats of Trinity Brewing Company in Colorado Springs. Fresh off a gold medal win at the Great American Beer Festival for their Belgian inspired flanders they thought it was time to change things up and go gaga over hops.
This will be the first Double IPA from Jason Yester, and it promises to be nothing short of shocking. Brewed with 7 different malts and 8 varieties of hops this beer has a 125 minute boil that manages to pack in 125 IBU's, making this one of the hoppiest beers ever brewed! This huge ale comes in at a whopping 10% ABV and should shake the frost off your pumpkins.
And you can get a taste of it right now! Jason, Todd and the rest of the gang down at Trinity started bright and early at 11:00 this morning celebrating the release of this hoptastic new concoction. They'll likely be going until the dreads on Jason's head go limp. So get yourself down there and try out this over the top hop explosion.
