Trinidad’s Curtis Jordan releases music video for R&B gospel hit, Alive

Fresh off his cross Caribbean tour covered by hit station Tempo Networks, 25 year-old Trinidadian Curtis Jordan is certainly one to watch in 2013. With the obvious Caribbean flavors in his music, CJ brings a refreshing R&B sound that allows his smooth voice to be showcased.

In 2013, he released his music video Alive from his new album, Just The Beginning. In between his busy schedule, we got a bit of one on one time with the crooner who gave me a few seconds to talk about what we can expect from Curtis Jordan.

“The name of the new music video is Alive and it’s on my new EP release Just The Beginning,” he said before talking about his 2012 accomplishments. “I was also able to complete a successful Caribbean tour Dare To Be Different which was covered by Tempo Network.”

Never heard of CJ? According to him, “my sound is like the smoothness of John Legend, the soul of Bob Marley and the Energy and power of the voice of Donnie McClurkin”.

And 2013 is certainly ‘just the beginning’ for CJ whose full album launch will take him on tour throughout the Caribbean, U.S.A and UK.

Here’s a taste of why CJ is on the watch list as the next Caribbean crossover.
