Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, the folks at DC to BC are bringing Trillectro Music Festival back to the Half Street Fairgrounds, Saturday August 17. Though last year's lineup was quite impressive, this year's artists are poised to take things up a notch.
Headlining the festival is D.C.'s rap ambassador, Wale. Just two months removed from his first number-one record, Wale is riding higher than ever and is a huge get for Trillectro. This year's lineup also features buzz-worthy hip-hop acts like A$AP Ferg, Casey Veggies, King Chip and Travi$ Scott.
On the EDM side of things, local superstar Dave Nada--better known as Nadastrom--anchors a solid lineup that includes fellow D.C. native Tittsworth and national acts Carnage, Salva, Gent & Jawns and DJ Sliink.
Filling the spaces in between is an assortment of the Washington area's most talented locals. Go-go flavored rock band RDGLDGRN will return home for the first time since the DC 101 Chili Cook-Off. Other stand-outs include aqua-pop quartet Misun, and rappers Phil Ade and Shy Glizzy.
