Trillectro, a one day festival dedicated to hip-hop and electronic dance music (EDM), has just announced the lineup for this year's show. The big event is going down on August 23, 2014 at the RFK Stadium grounds (2400 East Capitol Street, NE).

Trillectro 2014 boasts an eclectic and compelling roster of musical talent featuring: Big Sean, Migos, Fat Trel, Baauer ("Harlem Shake"), Lunice, Sango, Goldlink, Twrk and Oddisee. DC rising rap star Lightshow will also make his first Trillectro appearance. DJ Money will hold down the turntables and Lowkey will be hosting again this year.

Although this is the current list of musicians scheduled to perform, don’t be surprised if other prominent acts are added as the date of the show draws closer. Trillectro is famous for unscripted performances. Last year red-hot rappers A$AP Rocky and Fat Trel jumped on stage “Hot 97 Summer Jam style” without any prior notification.

Trillectro, which is being held in Washington, DC for the third consecutive year, was created by Modi, Marcel and Quinn from the influential music blog DC to BC. Each year the festival has grown more popular with both the fans and the performers. In fact, this year’s move to a larger venue (Trillectro formerly took place at the Half Street Fairgrounds) is probably due to problems last year with overcrowding and long lines.

The show location, the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds, is conveniently situated just outside the former home of the Washington Redskins and Nationals. The easily accessible venue is only a short walk from the Stadium-Armory Metro Station.

Pre-Sale, Early Bird, VIP and Advance tickets (in limited quantities) can be purchased now at Ticketmaster. To view the entire lineup of performers, go to:

Trillectro 2014 is sponsored by Events DC, Shoe City, Reebok, Heineken and Karmaloop.
