Miami Tridents got some great news as they officially announced that Brock International became the club's sponsor.

Brock is one of the bigger companies in the impact protection industry, especially in athletic endeavors.  For rugby clubs in South Florida this is a huge step forward for the marketing of the sport as well as being able to further grow the sport at a the youth levels and give the club a great opportunity to turn South Florida into a major rugby hub.

"Throughout its almost 40 year history, Tridents have a long list of accomplishments.  The recent partnership with a reputable international company like Brock is one ofour proudest," said Tridents president Fernando Bretos.  "Brock provides state-of-the-art athletic turfs throughout the world and is perched to make a strong implact in the US market for fields and playgrounds."

Brock's partnership is part of their work with the sport is just an example of what they are looking to do in the United States after the work they have done with various sporting complexes and playgrounds all throughout Europe.

"Following our installation of the WRU National Center in Cardiff in 2009, we made the strategic decision to intensify our commitment to the sport of rugby.  Our recent sponsorship agreement with Trident RFC is a natural progression of this effort,"said Brock Europe head Steve Sawyer.   We believe that rugby brings out the best in its players in terms of self-sacrifice, athleticism, sportsmanship and teamwork. The Tridents are a shining example of the spirit the  grassroots sports represent and we are proud to support them in their quest for future success."

Tridents will start their new era with their new sponsor this coming weekend as they participate in the All Florida Day tournament that will be held in Tavares.
