Twas the night before Halloween and all through the house, my dogs are licking the air, as peanut butter wafts through the house. I'm baking peanut butter dog treats in the shape of bats and pumpkins for my four legged friends. I've made dog treats over the years for my dogs, client's dogs, and have also sold them at the Sheridan Farmer's Market. I feel that my dog treats are loved by dogs all over the Hamilton County area. I know dogs eat them, how well they taste, that I would know (I can't can't tell a lie, I have tasted them, and they taste pretty bland). I'm grateful that the dogs aren't too picky.
I wanted to share my famous recipe with you. It's a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. The crazy thing is that I can't remember an exact recipe. I usually make up the recipe as I go, if I did tell you, I would have to kill you, fitting for Halloween.
Trick or Treating has been delayed due to storms in Central Indiana from tomorrow night until Friday, November 1st. It's strange that Halloween has been officially moved to another day, but it doesn't effect me having to bake away this evening. Happy Halloween to all, and to all a spooky good night....on November 1st, 2013!
