Tricia Goyer, who has written 18 books and published more than 300 articles, will be the guest speaker on Tuesday, August 10, at the Little Rock American Christian Writers meeting. It will be held at FamilyLife (5800 Ranch Drive, Little Rock) from 12 - 1 p.m. She will not only tell how she began writing, but will also share some of her writing techniques.

Goyer won the Historical Novel of the Year award in both 2005 and 2006 from American Christian Fiction Writers. She was honored in 2003 with the Writer of the Year award from the Mt. Hermon Writers' Conference.
