An Oregon witness was startled while riding a scooter just after 10 p.m. on September 13, 2010, when a triangle-shaped craft with rounded edges was spotted just 100 yards away, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The object had a light in front that the witness said appeared to be guiding it somehow.
"What made the light unique was that it was circular in shape and moving back and forth across the front of the craft," the witness stated. "It reminded me of the car 'Kit' from the television show 'Knight Rider' except for the fact the light was white and round. Now the most incredible part of this experience was that the light seemed to help determine the direction the craft would head. The light stopped pacing back and forth and was stuck on one end for about 20 seconds. The craft started heading in the direction the light was facing, and soon the craft stopped and tilted forward as if the lights were this crafts eyes."
As the craft moved closer, the witness offers a description.
"As it drew near (roughly 100 yards away), I could see the underneath of the craft. It seemed to have a triangular shape but rounded (basically there seemed to be no straight lines). The craft was also a silver color and absolutely had no visible means of propulsion. I didn't see any propellers or jet engines."
The witness then nearly lost control of the scooter while attempting to watch the object, and looked away for 30 to 45 seconds. When the witness looked back, the object was gone.
No town name was provided in the public portion of the MUFON report. No images or video were submitted.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or man made. I had left from work at about 10:00pm and was beginning my hour long ride home on my scooter. Shortly after leaving (around 10:10), I was driving west on marine drive nearing the 223rd st exit. As I approached the off-ramp, I noticed a unique light in the northern sky, and it was heading in my direction.

I immediately realized what I was witnessing was something out of the ordinary and caused me to lose control of my scooter for a brief moment.
While this happened the crafts light shot directly in my direction and then the craft slowly turned in my direction. By then I was so scared I focused on my driving, trying to figure out what to do and where to go, being that I was in an area with little traffic and little to none lighting.
About 30-45 seconds passed without looking at this craft,(while heading south on 223rd), but once I turned my head assuming it'd be above me by then, it was gone. When i noticed the craft gone, I was coming to a light (possibly Sandy Blvd.) I will gladly provide further info if needed. Thank you

I've seen it. The one I saw had a red light on each point. I couldn't tell how big it was or its altitude, but it looked low and fast. It was totally silent.
I was in the mountains in Colorado in late March or early April of 1997 above Oakridge and Steamboat on a drive to look for the Hale-bop comet...we were on a dirt road that is higher than anything else around driving along...and we turned a corner and saw a bright light brighter than a planet or a star sitting directly in the sky out in front of us...We both looked at each other and said what is that...Next thing it did was shoot straight up in the sky and disappear ...Ok so we thought that was weird ...but we kept driving a bit and we could see something glowing off the side of the mountain to our left as we drove past it we decided to get out and see what it was...we are standing there looking at the glow which looked just like orange light on the ground off the steep incline and as we were standing there a huge huge triangular object flew right over.....It had lights on the corners ? It was completely silent...
the thing is it seemed like it was flying so slow...it appeared to be flying low or not that far above us.....and the lights three lights on each corner maybe one in the middle ?..Red?.I am just not certain I was so awestruck I couldn't think...
while we were standing there absorbing what happened ...some coyotes started to howl and scream on the other side of the road and my boy friend howled back ...They came down to the edge of the trees and out onto the barrow...Thats when we deiced to jump in the truck and drive
