Tri-State LED, a leader in LED lighting retrofits, announced today it has completed the LED lighting retrofit for SL Green Realty Corporation at 1515 Broadway in Times Square. This 1.8 million square foot commercial office property, and corporate headquarters of Viacom Inc., marks the next significant step in the integration of LED Lighting throughout SL Green Realty Corp.’s portfolio.

” In 2012, SL Green selected Tri-State LED's Seesmart product, installing more than 17,000 LED lamps throughout 21 of its properties, saving more than $850,000 annually through energy and lamp replacement savings.
1515 Broadway continues the success of this program, installing 1,100 Seesmart LED lamps, replacing antiquated lighting technologies throughout 24/7 lighting areas including stairs and mechanical spaces to reduce energy use within retrofit areas by more than 55%.
