2013/2014 winter season- Week 12-February 17th-February 23rd

Male

Trevor Lyford- Penquis- basketball- Scored 39 points, including the game tying three pointer to send the game to a second overtime and went 13-14 from the free throw line in 66-61 double overtime quarterfinal victory over Washington Academy.

Recorded 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists in 60-44 semifinal loss to Houlton.

It is the third athlete of week for Lyford. He also earned the honor

Kyle Bouchard- Houlton- basketball- Recorded 15 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists in 51-35 quarterfinal victory over Bucksport. Recorded 20 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 60-44 semifinal victory over Penquis. Recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in regional final victory over Lee Academy.

Other nominations

Kyle Johnson- Calais- basketball- Recorded 29 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in 55-52 quarterfinal victory over Orono. Recorded 13 points, five assists, five steals, and four rebounds in 61-57 semifinal loss to Lee Academy.

Dayne Savage- Caribou- basketball- Scored 32 points, including 10 in the third quarter in 58-39 class B semifinal victory over Hermon.

Tyler Thayer- Hermon- basketball- Scored 26 points in 58-39 semifinal loss against Caribou.

Chris Hudson- Hodgdon- basketball- recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks in 45-31 victory over Easton in a class D semifinal game. Scored 25 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in 49-37 regional championship victory over Southern Aroostook.

Zach Gilpin- Hampden- basketball- Scored 38 points in 82-54 regional final victory over Oxford Hills.
