Team roping: 2009, Derrick Begay & Cesar de la Cruz turn in a time 3.6 seconds; Clay Tryan & Travis Graves do it in 2012
Saddle bronc riding: 2009, Billy Etbaur scores 90 points
Tie-down roping: 2007, Trevor Brazile posts a time of 6.7 seconds
Barrel racing: 2011, with a time of 13.56 seconds, Lindsay Sears won the round
Bull riding: 2010, J.W. Harris earns a score of 94.5 points
Bareback Riding – Full Results
Kaycee Feild won the round with an 83 with his ride on ‘Shadow Warrior’ and took home a check for $18,629.81.
Clint Cannon placed second after riding ‘Inky’ for a score of 82.5 and won $14,723.56.
Third place was won by Ryan Gray, who scored an 80 on ‘Times Up’ earning him $11,117.79.
A three-way tie went to Steven Peebles, Steven Dent and Wes Stevenson, putting checks for $5,208.33 in each of their pockets.
Steer Wrestling – Full Results
Matt Reeves won the round with a time of 3.1 and collected a check for $18,629.81.
Bray Armes posted a time of 3.9 to take second place and earned $14,723.56.
With a time of 4.0, Stan Branco and Dean Gorsuch tied for third to earn checks for $9,465.14.
Team Roping – Full Results (Headers), (Heelers)
Clay Tryan & Paul Eaves and Dustin Bird & Jade Corkill tied for first place with a time of 4.10 earning each rider a check for $16,676.68.
Riley Minor & Brady Minor placed third after posting a time of 4.6 to add $11,117.79 to their winnings.
Recently crowned world champion Trevor Brazile and his partner Patrick Smith posted a time of 4.8 to place fourth and collect a check for $7,812.50.
Saddle Bronc – Full Results
Jake Wright scored an 84.5 riding ‘Special Time’ to win the round and add $18,629.81 to his winnings.
Second place went to Chad Ferley after riding ‘Pretty Boy’ for a score of 83.5, earning him a check for $14,723.56.
Tied for third were Cody Wright (‘Get Smart’) and Taos Muncy (‘Four Aces’) posting scores of 79.5 and collecting a check for $9,465.14.
Tie-Down Roping – Full Results
Cody Ohl returned to his winning ways with a time of 6.7 to win the round and take home a check for $18,629.81.
Trevor Brazile adds another $14,723.56 to his winnings placing second with a time of 7.3.
Third place went to Scott Kormos and Shane Hanchey after posting times of 7.7 earning them each a check for $9,465.14.
Barrel Racing – Full Results
Round 7 proved to be another tight race, but Taylor Jacob took first with a time of 13.47 and collected a check for $18,629.81.
Michele McLeod was right behind with her time of 13.48 to take second place and earning $14,723.56.
Mary Walker posted a time of 13.54 to take third and add $11,117.79 to her NFR winnings.
Bull Riding – Full Results
With a score of 85, Cody Teel rides ‘Slim Chance’ to win the round and collect a check for $18,629.81.
Cooper Davis rode ‘Snugly’ for a score of 84 to take second place and took home $14,723.56.
Parker J. Breding scored an 80.5 on ‘Hide Out’ to take the third place check for $11,117.79.
Crown Royal Rider update
Steve Woolsey, who suffered a concussion in Round 5, continues to struggle in his attempts to get a qualifying score. Every time Steve can get a score, Crown Royal will donate $1,000 to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Let’s all cheer Steve on and wish him luck for Round 8!
