Trenton Catholic defeats Coral Springs

Trenton Catholic defeated Coral Springs Charter Lady Panthers from Florida 57-48 in the New Years Resolution Girls' High School Basketball Tournament.

It is not often that a high school team has the opportunity to play a team from out of state, but the New Years Resolution Tournament makes that possible.

The MVP for the games were Trenton's Isis Young, who finished with 22 points and Florida's Emily Williams.

  • Paramus Catholic had the opportunity to play Woodlands High School from NY. PC won 69-39.
  • Life Center had an exciting game with HD Woodson from Washington, DC. Life Center won in over time, 66-60.
  • Willingboro High School lost a close game to Nazareth High School from NY, 42-37.
  • Eastside High School defeated Coral Springs from Florida, 50-40.
  • Neptune fell to St. John's the Baptist (NY), 53-45.
  • Blair Academy defeated HD Woodson from Washington, DC, 57-45.
  • Montclair High School lost to Albany High School, 49-38.
  • Shabazz High School defeated Bishop FOrd, 66-60.
  • St. Anthony's from NY defeated Teaneck High School, 67-42.
  • Blair Academy defeated Archbiship Williams (NY), 46-34.
  • Weequahic High School defeated Boys and Girls (NY), 57-26.
  • Immaculate Conception defeated Wings (NY), 41-31.
  • University lost to Ursuline (NY), 55-46.
