Trent Reznor is angry and rightfully so. On Jan. 27, Reznor took to Twitter and aired his feelings by telling the Grammy Organizers, "Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt F*** YOU guys."
Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl teamed up for the final performance of the evening. They were joined on stage by Fleetwood Mac's Lindsay Buckinham for a rare Grammys rock performance. Amid all the pop rock and hip hop, this was rock and roll heaven.
This wasn't Trent Reznor's first bash of the Grammy Awards though. In 2011, The Hollywood Reporter interviewed him and asked him about his previous two Grammys. His response was that he had no idea where the awards went. Then went on to say, "Why don’t the Grammys matter? Because it feels rigged and cheap," he said. "Like a popularity contest that the insiders club has decided."
Reznor and his band Nine Inch Nails were nominated again for Best Alternative Music Album for Hesitation Marks. Unfortunately, they lost out to Vampire Weekend.
