The 2014 Grammys have come and gone, but not everyone was happy with all that went down. Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor was joined on stage by some of the biggest names in rock for the show's finale, but CBS cut the performance short while some in attendance walked out, according to E! Online on Jan. 27, 2014.
Reznor was joined on stage by The Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl, Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham, and Queens of the Stone Age to close out the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Those watching at home never got to see the whole performance as CBS rolled the credits and Reznor wasn't happy.
"Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt F--K YOU guys," Reznor tweeted.
The Grammys actually ran 45 minutes long, and it appeared as if it was time to call the show quits.
After the show, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow explained to reporters why the performance was cut short.
"We save the end slot for something that is a bit of a jam, because you can have the energy go and then it's just a matter of the clock."
