Trendy new bar opens at Loews Hollywood as part of $30 million facelift

Here it is you moment of trendy Zen tippling. Loews Hollywood Hotel just announced the opening of a chic new lobby bar called H2 Kitchen & Bar where scene-sters can meet, drink cocktails created by A-list mixologist Matt Biancaniello and nibble on creations of innovative Chef Mark Ching.

The chic, modernistic bar is part of a $31 million head to toe facelift of the iconic Hollywood that sits Hollywood & Highland in the heart of tinsel town. For those who need to stay connected there’s free WiFi and electrical outlets to keep devices charged. There’s also an 120-inch big screen TV to keep up on sports and news in-between texting, Tweeting, posting on Facebook, Instagraming and mingling.

“H2 Kitchen & Bar is a key component to the experience at the newly renovated Loews Hollywood Hotel,” said Brian Johnson, managing director. “We designed H2 Kitchen & Bar to be a sanctuary in the heart of Hollywood, and a natural place to gather within the hotel no matter the reason or time of day.”

Signature cocktail selections include the H² Martini, Mother Mary, and Blackberry Basil Mojito. The small bites menu, which costs from $8 - $13, features choices such as Egg², Anti-oxidant Kale Salad, savory Pastrami Doughnuts, and Chile Spiced Shrimp Flatbread. H2 Kitchen & Bar is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., daily.
