Designer Clare Waight Keller presented her very practical Chloe Fall/Winter 2013/2014 Ready-to-Wear collection at her fashion show for Paris Fashion Week earlier today, March 3, 2013 in Paris, France.
This is a trendy collection for young women who want to look contemporary yet chic – all very tastefully done – nothing too outrageous or shocking to get noticed, which understated elegance can achieve all on its own...
Expect fitted jumper-style dresses which appears to have a rounded square bib inset, such as the grey and black long-sleeved jumper dress with a mock turtleneck.
Alternatively, Chloe offers and red and black dirndl like jumper that allows you to wear a top underneath. Very versatile because you can just change the shirt and wear the jumper repeatedly without washing! Great for work?
There are plenty of summery dresses in this Chloe Fall 2013 such as the sleeveless white button-down dress with ruffles over the shoulders and bodice, a lovely sleeveless pale aqua dress with turtleneck and the lovely Swiss dot and white trimmed blouse, which is paired with burgundy culottes.
Chloe also has some more unusual pieces such as the “harem pants” style cuffed trousers, which are available in cobalt blue and black stripes and even in slate blue leather!
The shoe of choice for this collection is the pointed laced oxford with a medium heel or simple pumps.
For eveningwear, designer Clare Waight Keller offers an unsual gold netted overdress which goes over a simple sheath, such as the ivory one the model wore – versatile because it could be worn with dresses of any color and that have different sleeves to create different looks.
Chloe’s white spotted layered skirt is also quite lovely and there’s also a netted black skirt that is just so Madonna in the 1980’s!
The Chloe Fall/Winter 2013/2014 collection offers plenty of cobalt blue dresses and separates, such as the cobalt blue and white long-sleeved dress, that can also be teamed with the stylish zippered cobalt blue cape.
For animal print lovers, there is even an animal print style fitted skirt that would be great for work or dressing up in the evening.
