If you’re in the United States, it is likely you are coping with record high temperatures. Dangerously high heat indexes are sweeping the nation and reaping havoc on everyone in its path. It seems like just a few months ago the nation was battling record high snowfall as storm after storm blasted through. This trend of extremes is reflective of the rollercoaster of life’s highs and lows.
Ideally, in a perfect world a nice middle-ground temperature would be wonderful, not to hot and not to cold. It would also be great to apply this same concept to all of the drama that surfaces daily. Is this just a pipe dream to want to live in this middle-ground realm or can it manifest into reality?
The weather is the weather and most of time the circumstances of your life are reflective of the cards you are dealt. You can’t control what is thrown in your path or change the core condition of such circumstances like the weather but you can control how you respond to the extreme.
For example, instead of feeding negative energy into the effects of a scorching day, allow your mind to focus on the “feels good’s” that can result from such weather. Perhaps you have a pool and the thought of jumping in, after a long hot workday, helps pull you through. Maybe you will escape the temperature by seeing a movie that you’ve wanted to see or retreating into a cool bath or cooling down with ice cream might be right up your alley instead. The message here is regardless of your extreme, train your mind to focus on the positives that will help get you back on track as apposed to negative aspects of your circumstance.
If you’re perspective is focused on a positive outcome, you are working to dry up the rain cloud and manifest perfect weather days (philosophically speaking of course). The bottom line, if you feed positive energy, you manifest positive results!
