Treat yourself to the 2013 South Beach Wine & Food Festival

Tickets are going fast for the 2013 South Beach Wine & Food Festival, so it's time to place your order.

The world-famous festival, which is held Feb. 21-14, is known for bringing everyone's favorite celebrity chefs, culinary personalities, winemakers and spirit producers together for the ultimate gourmet beach blast. Although they are going fast, tickets are still available.

The festival features activities for everyone, including cooks, wine lovers, and even the entire family. Here are just a few of the major events, but there are scores of other food demonstrations and seminars as well.

Fun and Fit as a Family: This event, featuring the Kellogg's Kidz Kitchen, is a blend of education and fun for parents and their children during the festival weekend. The event features celebrity chefs, along with an interactive food lab. Physical fitness activities, healthy food samplings, and a sustainable garden will be included.

Wine and Spectator's "Best of the Best." This event features tastings from more than 80 wineries pouring their best selections, accompanied by world-class creations from 45 renowned chefs.

Southern Kitchen Brunch. Hosted by Grammy-Award winning artist and TV Chef Trisha Yearwood, this brunch features the ultimate in southern comfort food, prepared by a group of top chefs.

Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village. The ultimate in food, wine and spirit sampling, this event takes place under the food festival's signature white tents, with food personalities including Sunny Anderson, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Robert Irvine and Michael Symon all stopping by to give food demonstrations.

Guy Fieri's Roadshow & Reggae. This closing event is not-to-be missed as Food Network culinary rockstar Guy Fieri and reggae legend Ziggi Marley serve up authentic Jamaican cuisine, along with music and dancing.

Although this is an event known for it's gourmet decadence, it's often overlooked that the festival has raised millions of dollars to benefit scholarships for culinary arts and hospitality students at the Florida International University's Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
