Dennis Rodman owes America a tremendous apology, and a plea not to be tried for treason. As a useful idiot, the Republic of North Korea of course welcomed him with open arms. Rodman declared unabashedly his admiration for this "awesome guy" and "young kid", as Rodman described the leader of one of America's most dangerous enemies. Almost before the yellow-haired giant left the country, Kim Jung Un threatened America by promising a nuclear attack which would set New York City ablaze in a sea of fire.
Rodman's handlers (does he have any handlers?) must be smoking the same stuff Rodman smokes. To think that it is a good idea to meet, greet, and adore a world leader that weekly issues new threats against its neighbors, has the capability to carry out those threats, and whose country's past leadership has shown itself to be on a short fuse, is well...insane!
Rodman joins the ranks of Michael Moore and Sean Penn in the team of useful idiots. The trio has individually so undermined US security interests worldwide that one must truly wonder whose side they are on: the country that made each of them filthy rich and gave them the open microphone through which to speak, or the long list of countries that would love in theory and in practice to cut each of their heads off...especially the gay, Dennis Rodman!
Rodman even went so far as to suggest that Kim would like a phone call from the President. Since when does the White House formulate its foreign policy on the dictates of NBA players? Does Rodman realize what he has done? Certainly not! Hence, the term useful idiot. Sorry, but it bears repeating!
What a great example Rodman is! He is tattooed from head to toe, shuns all authority, a self-confessed bisexual, gregarious, and a failure as a man, a father, and an American. Now, he is seen mugging with a man that dreams of slaughtering Americans! Why is this man not in jail? Where is a US Marshal when you need one? Where?
Admiration equals loyalty. Loyalty to an enemy is treason in the sight of any country's laws. North Korea executes what it calls traitors every day! It's people are starving while its leader shoots hoops with an American idiot. Cannibalism has become the norm in North Korea. Yet, Mr. Rodman, in his infinite wisdom has seen fit to sidle up to a murderous tyrant.
