Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and rapper Yelawolf made a dynamic entrance at Rain Nightclub on New Year’s Eve, rushing the stage and breaking into the Beastie Boys’ “Fight for Your Right.” Barker pounded his drums, Yelawolf chugged a beer, Rain’s fireballs shot from the roof (for the last time) and the crowd went wild.
The tattooed duo called out the countdown to midnight, Yelawolf on the microphone and Barker keeping count with his drumsticks. Confetti exploded from the ceiling and Barker broke into an epic drum solo that then transitioned into “Push Em,” their recently released song.
At Moon Nightclub, Wynter Gordon, wearing a leather mirco-mini dress, sexy leggings and sky-high stilettos, counted down the New Year.
The pop princess performed her popular hits “Til Death,” “Buy My Love” and the popular “Dirty Talk.”
In Ghostbar, Flavor Flav, Criss Angel and friends were enjoying Perrier-Jouët Champagne at a table over-looking the city when, around 3 a.m., the Cirque du Soleil magician requested a Public Enemy song. When the DJ played "911 Is a Joke," to everyone’s surprise, Flavor Flav, wearing a long fur coat, grabbed the microphone and performed the entire song.
