On the Feb. 4 episode of In Session, Jodi Arias took the stand and revealed that a former boyfriend was into vampires and tells a sob story about being abused as a child. The killer is claiming self-defense in the brutal murder of Travis Alexander, who was shot in the face, stabbed 27 times and had his throat slit from ear to ear.
During the testimony in the Jodi Arias trial, the murderer spoke about being abused as a child. She went into great detail while her sisters looked at her with their eyebrows raised. Her mother, Sandy, looked on with no expression on her face whatsoever. Whether Arias was abused or not is not important and cannot be used as an excuse. There are tens of thousands, if not more, abuse victims who never commit a violent crime.
She also talked in a soft-spoken voice while she answered questions about her former boyfriends. She claimed one had "wild ideas" and believed in vampires. Those following the trial are scratching their heads wondering what vampires have to do with the Travis Alexander murder.
Have you been following the Jodi Arias trial? What are your thoughts on what the killer said while on the stand? Do you think there will be justice for Travis Alexander and his family?
