This coming week, June 16-22 in Orlando local music is full of great shows for music fans to choose from. Music fans don’t even have to leave the house to support local music either by contributing money to fundraising campaigns or just tuning into one of the many radio programs that feature Orlando music on a weekly basis.

Orlando based band Stiletto Red launched their Kickstarter to raise money to record and release a new EP. The band needs to raise $3,500 by July 11 in order to collect any money. Of course the band is offering some of the usual special song downloads and editions of the completed EP, but there are also a few very special goodies they are offering such as Gio’s pants, a chance to hang (and drink) with the band or even a private acoustic performance from the band. Some of the perks are in very limited quantities so don’t wait too long.

Leaving Haven’s IndieGoGo campaign is still running until June 21. The Orlando based band is still a long way from their $7,000 goal, but it is a flexible funding program, so the band will get the money pledged even if they fail to reach their goal. The band has some cool perks available including joining the band on stage for a song or participating in a photo shoot with the band and Adam Arnali.

Traverser announced that their long-time bassist and co-founding member, Rob Spence, was leaving the band. His replacement was named as Rick Garitta, formerly of Judy Tribune and 7 Blue Skies.
