Traveling to Orlando with a snorer? Use Zyppah device to get some sound sleep

If you have a snorer in the family, it can be quite a pain when you're all stuck together in a standard hotel room. A person who saws wood while he or she sleeps can keep the rest of the family wide awake all night. On vacation, that means cranky kids in the morning and general exhaustion, since visiting Walt Disney World or the other Orlando theme parks is strenuous and requires a good night's sleep.

I have the same problem, so I recently had my husband try out the Zyppah RX snoring device when I received one to do a review. It looks a bit like a torture device and takes some getting used to, but I was amazed at how it stopped the annoying sound.

You customize the Zyppah by using hot water to soften it so you can mold it to your mouth. Then you wear it at night while sleeping, and it keeps your mouth and jaw in a position that keep you quiet.

It took few days for my husband to get used to wearing the Zyppah RX all night. At first, he wore it for part of the night, building himself up to the entire eight hours of his sleep time. His mouth was a little sore in the beginning, which was probably compounded by the fact that he's a teeth grinder. Eventually he got used to the device and could wear it in reasonable comfort.

Amazingly, the Zyppah RX stopped his snoring. Normally it's nearly impossible to get any rest in close proximity to him in a small space like a hotel room or cruise cabin, but the device kept him from sounding like a buzz saw.

There was another interesting side effect that we didn't expect. He wears a Fitbit to track the soundness of his sleep at night, and normally it shows that he wakes up a lot, even though he doesn't remember it. He started having nice, solid blocks of sleep once he started wearing the Zyppah RX for his snoring..

The only downside was that he has sinus problems, so some nights he woke up gagging because the snot would gather in a wad in the back of his throat. Other than that, my Zyppah RX snore device review is positive because I can personally vouch for the fact that it really does silence the snoring.

In your own house, you can get away from a snorer by moving to another room. That's impossible when you're traveling, so if you're coming to Orlando with someone who snores, I recommend ordering the Zyppah RX ahead of time from the online site. Leave enough time to mold it and work your way up to wearing it all night.

If you have a large family, there's one other solution to traveling with someone who snores. Book a nice, big vacation home instead of hotel rooms and isolate the noisy member of your party in his or her own part of the house. A typical vacation home has many bedrooms, often on both a first and second floor, so it's not difficult to have the snorer sleep in one part of the house while the rest of the family slumbers in peace on the other.
