Portland is known for two things: its business and its boldness. Leading the path in so many ways (sustainability anyone?), Portland culture and style has captured the attention of people nationwide—including that of custom menswear brand, Indochino.
Known for their made-to-measure menswear and efficient thirty minute fittings, Indochino has already gained a following of appreciating customers. Traveling Tailor, the company’s pop-up store, has set up shop at 922 Yamhill Street, hoping to appeal to Portland’s business-savvy. The custom menswear shop is offering shirts starting at $79, suits starting at $429, and free customizations. I suppose the question is, will any of their 20 customization options compliment the athletic sneakers Portland business men seem to be so attached to? Supposedly anything can look suave when a properly tailored suit is involved.
Traveling Tailor is open this week and next (Sept. 12-23). Their hours are 8am-8pm weekdays, Saturdays 9am-8pm, and Sundays 10am-7pm. Appointments may also be made at: http://www.indochino.com/traveling-tailor/portland.
