Are you the worst packer? Are you constantly over-packing, or find that you are so disorganized that half of the stuff you need is actually still in your closet as you are on the way to the airport? Never fear. Gift guide guru, Julie Loffredi is here!
In this video interview, Loffredi offers some advice to travelers about the latest products to keep them organized on their treks. Her tips aren’t just for those of you heading into jungles. They work well for business travelers, and for people heading out on their long-awaited vacations, too.
Are you always over-packing and getting stuck with airline fees? One of the best gadgets is the digital luggage scale. Once you are packed, you just pull on it (it’s attached to your luggage handle), and it tells you how close to the limit you are. Sadly, it can’t tell you what to take out of your suitcase if you are over the limit. So, you are going to have to decide which pair of heels to leave behind on your own.
Have you heard of the anti-theft bag? A number of travel insurance providers recommend travelers take extra precautions in certain cities, particularly those known for pickpockets. Anti-theft bags include an extra set of hooks in order to open the bag, thus slowing down hit and run theft attempts. Obviously, no bag is going to deter all attempts, but that extra layer of protection will help.
Frustrated by your iPhone’s zoom? You might want to test out HookUpz. It’s a device that attaches to your iPhone and acts as a zoom for your camera. It is lighter and significantly easier to pack than a full size camera. But, as always, be sure to test it out before actually leaving for your trip.
Check out these and other great items recommended by Julie Loffredi to make your next trip an organized success.
