Economic Therapy- Visit Mexico -Best Bang for your Buck
In economic times, stress levels reach an all time high. Stress from the economy affects your hours spent at work, your time spent with your family and even your recreation. Why is it in these hard times we push back on the stress relief therapies that are so needed. Instead of trying to make the stressful situation better by taking some time off for ourselves and our families we keep pushing harder. Most likely concern of money makes us keep pressing on without a break in our routine. Ironically, if we just stop ramming forward and take some time for ourselves and get away, everything will seem better. However, letting it build and build without a break will not make these hard economic times go away. Definitely, not the recommended remedy, in fact, it will make it worse. Solution? Treat the problem. Take a few days off. Try some “Economic Vacation Therapy”- travel to a place close, yet feels exotic, international, worlds away and yes, definitely budget friendly in these economic times.

Picture this, beautiful sunny warm beach, clear skies and with your eyes closed you hear the sound of waves rolling in and soft music in the background. The beach is not very crowded, the water is sparkling blue and behind you is a jewel of a beachfront hotel with spa services, swimming pool and even a swim up bar if you’re so inclined.
Today, you’re not worried about the city traffic, rush hour or even getting in a car. Anywhere you want to go, you will walk, better described as “a casual stroll down the beach”. Not in a hurry, just strolling. If you feel like it, you might just finish that book you have been trying to read for a month. Maybe, sit on the balcony, feet up, looking out at the shimmering ocean, and brilliant diamonds in the water reflection below. Perhaps, you will have a massage or take the kids beachcombing. Finish up with an international meal and at the end of the day take a blanket on the beach and do some star gazing and possibly some soul searching, just slow down.

Remembering BOTH my times to Puerto Penasco brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. It will always be a place I can escape my thoughts. Your picture alone is therapuetic!
Since we really can't afford flights to Hawaii or the Caribbean (we live in Montana)we go to Mexico, and I'd bet have as good a time. We always rent budget timeshares (get great bargains through redweek.com) and so have a very economical trip. We've gone to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan (our favorite!).
