Trattoria Toscana of Temecula promises to win the hearts of those bitten by the love bug. Their menu has been chosen as the Best Place to Dine on Valentine's Day. Their sumptuous four-course menu was recently sampled and this is what you'll find at their quaint little Temecula restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, patrons will be treated with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and then given a very limited menu of extremely fresh and tasty entrees to choose from. They will be able to choose one of the following appetizers: Octopus Carpaccio or oysters on the half shell served with a crostone made from mixed local organic mushrooms. Then, there's a choice of soup or salad such as Zuppa di Farro Trattoria Toscana (their famous house soup), or a salad made with pears, gorgonzola cheese, strawberries and mixed greens.

For the main course, the restaurant will offer a choice of three entrees: heart-shaped lobster and salmon ravioli, or their potato and peccorino cheese or spinach raviolis, or a wild boar cacciatora with mixed seasonal vegetables.

Their dessert menu will have two of the restaurant's most popular dishes: Tiramisu’ ai frutti di Bosco (Tiramisu with mixed berries), or Crema Catalana Sarda which is a traditional crème brule but with a twist. This is a perfect ending to a Valentine's Day dinner.

Although the menu is a prix fixe of $50 per person, Trattoria Toscana's perfect mix of delicately paired dishes are sure to satisfy every taste bud and palate. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly suggested by calling Trattoria Toscana at 951-296-2066.

Trattoria Toscana of Temecula is located in the Palm Plaza Shopping Center at 26485 Ynez Rd. in Temecula, California. Their restaurant is located behind See's Candies and the Broken Yolk and almost right next door to Radio Shack.
