A trash worker was crushed while working on the job when the compactor came down upon his chest. The work was just 18-year-old.
The young man who passed away was named Louis Camarillo. While loading the garbage truck with items acquired from recycling containers, the compactor tragically killed Camarillo.
It’s not yet known why the compactor crushed the worker, or if there was faulty mechanics involved.
After the accident, Camarillo was rushed to the hospital. Efforts to save his life were not success.
As of now, police are saying that the garbage truck was privately owned. And according to Pix11, it’s not clear right now who owns that truck.
An investigation is currently pending in this case. In fact, OSHA went out to the scene to investigate the accident. Right now, foul play is not believed to be involved.
As for the OSHA, that stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The OSHA is a federal agency of the United States that regulates workplace safety and health in America.
