Transracial Adoption Panel Coming to Columbus!

Adoptive parents, family members and friends: don't miss the chance to participate in this groundbreaking discussion panel on transracial adoption!

Prominent adoption authors Rhonda Roorda (of the "In Their Own Voices" series) and Kevin Hofmann ("Growing Up Black in White") will share their experiences growing up as transracial adoptees, as well as answer audience members' questions and talk about current issues with transracial adoption.

As experts in their field, they will offer valuable insight and advice for parents navigating the murky waters of transracial adoption. Come find answers to such questions as:

• How does living in a predominantly white area affect children of color adopted into white families?
• How do parents handle children's concers about racism?
• Should there be transracial adoption?

Following the discussion, Mr. Hofmann and Ms. Roorda will be autographing their books, which be available for sale.
