Women who are transitioning into the Mom position have a multitude of questions and are sometimes overwhelmed with all of the new expectations and tasks of being a new mother. Sarasota is fortunate to have the Forty Carrots Family Center to help with informational workshops to help with the transition period between waiting for the new baby and the arrival of the new addition to the family.
Forty Carrots Family Center is partnering with the Postpartum Society of Florida in hosting two workshops beginning January 17. One of the workshops will address the many questions that the expectant mom has as she prepares for the new baby. The second workshop will address the adjustment period after the new arrival.
Moms-to-Be will be held on Fridays from 11:00-12:00 beginning on January 17. The focus of this workshop will be on you as the mom. Balancing your life and staying healthy during your pregnancy will be the focus. Expectant moms will learn strategies to help with this transition period.
New Moms will be held from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Fridays, beginning on January 17. New moms may bring the new baby with them if attending this workshop.
Interested moms-to-be or new moms who wish to attend these free workshops may contact Sarah Checcone by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Give yourself the opportunity to become the mom that you want to be by learning to navigate the two transition periods of before and after baby. These workshops will benefit both first-time moms and moms who already have children. There is always something new to learn with each experience.
